Where most projects start

Every site here starts with a problem, not a template.

Templates solve the designer's problem, not yours. So before anything gets built, one question comes first: what is this site actually supposed to do for your business? Everything after that follows from the answer.

You're here because

  • You run a business that needs a website people remember — and one that earns its place, rather than sitting there looking decorative.
  • You already have a site, but nobody lands on it. Traffic is flat, and nothing you have tried has moved it.
  • Visitors arrive, look around, and leave without buying. What you sell is good; the site is not making the case for it.
  • You rent out apartments or a villa and you are tired of paying commission to booking portals for guests who were looking for you anyway.
  • You have an idea for an online business that needs a real application behind it — something no page builder will get you.

Here's what I do about it

  • I build around your business, not around a layout. Every structural decision starts from what you sell and who buys it.
  • Search and AI optimisation from the first line of code — structured data, clean semantics and fast pages, not a plugin added at the end.
  • A first impression that says what you do in three seconds, before anyone reads a word, and puts the next step where the visitor is already looking.
  • Your own booking system on your own domain: your calendar, your prices, your rules, direct payments and no commission to anyone.
  • Custom web applications — portals, shops, reservation engines. Code you own outright, with no monthly plugin bills attached.

Why work with me

What an agency sells you, and what you actually get here.

Most agencies are built to repeat what worked last time, because repetition is what makes them profitable. I am built the other way around: one project at a time, drawn from scratch, with the person who plans it also writing the code.

Original by default

No template gets recycled here. Every project is drawn from a blank page, so your site does not turn up looking like the one your competitor bought last year.

Ideas, not just execution

You get more than what you asked for in the brief. Along the way I will tell you what I would change about how the business presents itself online — and why it would earn you money.

Built to your measure

A law office, a villa and a news portal have nothing in common except HTML. Each one gets a structure built around how it actually makes money, not a layout borrowed from another industry.

Complex inside, simple on top

Booking engines, multilingual catalogues, custom admin panels — all of it hidden behind an interface your staff can use without training and without a manual.

One person, start to finish

The person you brief is the person who writes the code. Nothing gets lost between a sales rep, a project manager and a subcontractor, because none of them are involved.

You own everything

The code, the content and the data are yours from day one. No licences to renew, no plugin subscriptions, no platform you cannot leave without rebuilding from scratch.

Selected work

From a simple business page to a secure voting system.

Everything on this page was built from scratch: business sites running on a custom CMS shaped around one client, webshops, news portals, booking engines, and secure electronic voting used by institutions and companies. Different problems, same approach.

Business Pages

You need a site that shows your work and your services in their best light, and that keeps bringing in new clients while you get on with the job. Built entirely around your business, with a content management system made for you — so you stay in control of every word and every image, at any hour, without calling anyone.

See business pages

Web shops

You need a shop that actually sells: one buyers can find, that search engines and AI agents like to recommend, and that you can run yourself. Products, prices, stock, categories and content stay in your hands, in an admin panel that takes minutes to learn rather than weeks.

News Portals

For editors and journalists nothing matters more than a fast, simple CMS that works from any device at any moment. OG CMS is quicker and easier to work in than WordPress and the usual platforms, carries none of their weight, and is shaped around how your newsroom actually publishes.

Booking Systems

Renting out apartments, a villa or anything else? OG Booking is a site that draws guests in at first glance and lets them reserve and pay without leaving it. Your calendar, your prices, your rules, with SEO and GEO worked in from the ground up so guests find you directly.

E-Democracy

A system for secret, secure electronic voting — built for municipalities and city councils, chambers, associations, joint-stock companies and boards. Verifiable results, a full audit trail, and a ballot simple enough that nobody needs instructions before using it.

Custom Web Applications

Applications built to order, from the first sketch to the day they go live. You have an idea and no clear picture of how it becomes software? That is the part I enjoy most — working out the shortest honest route from the idea to something people can actually use.

Client reviews

The part I cannot write myself.

Everything above this point is my account of the work. What follows is theirs, unedited — people who have been running these sites for years and know exactly what worked and what did not.

Glota - foreign language school

Working with Mario, who understands enough about every industry for which he creates a website, has shown me that there really are people and professionals who, in moments of your lack of ideas and wandering around details, will know exactly what needs to be done not only for your website, but also for your business, often better than you yourself.

Bild.ba - news website

Mario is great to work with, reacts quickly when something needs to be fixed, is available almost literally 24 hours a day, always ready to fix any problem, and there have been remarkably few. During the creation of the site he is operational, always available and listens to the client's wishes and tries to fulfill them as soon as possible. Fast, technically savvy, responsible and with a huge work ethic.

Hvaroma - plant-based cosmetics

Since I am personally creative and like everything I do to be special and authentic, that is how I envisioned the website from the very beginning. As something different, as a place where visitors would experience the brand. Mario understood my train of thought perfectly and turned it into action. In the time that followed, our brand grew and changed, and so did the website. Mario was always there, reacting quickly and solving things in record time.

We have collaborated on several different projects and in the development of several websites. The cooperation has always been at an extremely high level. Professional approach, reliability and fairness, with simple and pleasant communication. Everything was done with quality, quickly and as agreed. I definitely recommend and would be happy to cooperate again.

Law firm Tin Matic & Partners

Mario created a website for our law firm and we recommend him without reservation. He immediately understood what a law firm's website should be — serious, clear and credible — and that's exactly what we got, along with business emails and the entire infrastructure. All on time and at significantly more favorable terms than previous offers. What we appreciate most is that he remained available for support and changes even after delivery.

Villa Santila Istria

I ordered a website for our villa and the result exceeded my expectations. The website is modern, fast and visually clean – the photo gallery immediately evokes the atmosphere of the pool, courtyard and surroundings, and everything is arranged so that the guest receives all the important information in a few seconds: the size of the villa, amenities, distance from the sea and local attractions. The website is multilingual and responsive – it looks equally good on mobile and desktop, which is extremely important for guests who book from the road. I recommend Mario without hesitation to anyone who needs a high-quality, functional and beautiful website for their accommodation facility.

Notes from the work, not text written to fill space.

Everything here comes out of actual projects: numbers that surprised me, mistakes that cost something, and decisions that turned out to matter later. If a text cannot help you decide something, it does not get written.

Questions that come up

Before you ask

There is no price list, because there is no standard website. Cost follows scope: how many pages and languages, whether there is a shop, a booking engine or an application behind it, and how much of it you want to manage yourself. Tell me what the site has to do and you get a fixed quote, not an hourly estimate that grows along the way.

A business site with a custom CMS usually takes two to three weeks from the first conversation to launch. A webshop or booking system takes a bit longer, an application longer still. The largest variable is rarely the code — it is how quickly the content, photographs and texts arrive.

Yes, and that is the point. Every site comes with an admin panel built for that specific site, so you change text, images, prices and pages without calling anyone. There is no training course and no manual, because if it needs one, it was designed badly.

Yes. Projects run in English, German or Croatian, and most of the sites built here are multilingual anyway. Everything happens remotely, which changes nothing about the work — the only difference is the time zone of the calls.

The site keeps working, and you are not left alone with it. There are no licence renewals and no plugin subscriptions to keep paying, so ongoing cost is usually just hosting and a domain. When something needs changing or extending later, you come back to the person who wrote it.

Clean semantics, structured data and fast pages come as standard, because they are decided while the site is being built. Deeper optimisation — content strategy, GEO, ongoing work on visibility — is a separate service, ordered on its own or agreed as part of the project. How far it goes depends on how much it matters to you.
